Videographer and colorist for luxury watchmaking

A watch tells its story through details: the texture of a dial, the depth of a case, the reflection of a precious metal, the motion of a tourbillon. Filming and grading watchmaking calls for particular precision, because the image has to do justice to pieces where every millimetre has been designed.

As a freelance videographer and colorist based in Paris, I have worked for several years with watch and jewelry houses such as Bvlgari, Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth. Depending on the project, I work on the shoot, the edit or the color grade, and sometimes on the whole chain.

Filming watches

On set, the challenge is to control light on highly reflective surfaces and to capture the craftsmen’s gestures while keeping the pieces readable. I filmed the unboxing of the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon during Watches and Wonders in Geneva, as well as films for Gerald Genta and for Bvlgari with the artist Laurent Grasso.

Color grading watches

In DaVinci Resolve, I focus on faithful materials (rose gold, yellow gold, steel, ceramic), accurate tones and consistency between detail shots and atmosphere shots. The goal is a precise, premium image that stays elegant without ever betraying the reality of the piece.

Working together

I work with watch houses, their agencies and production companies, on set as well as in post-production, including remote color grading. See my color grading service or let’s talk about your project.
